About Reid Kilts

My name is Peter Reid, I am the owner and founder of Reid Kilts.

Since I was a university student at 17, I have been working in the Highland wear industry. I started off as a part time staff member at one of Scotland’s largest and best known Kiltmakers and I was lucky enough to be mentored by one of the Industries most knowledgeable and experienced managers.

Mr Stewart Sutherland taught me everything I needed to know about Kilts and Scottish Highland Dress. Mr Sutherland also taught me the value of appreciating good quality, Scottish made Highlandwear. As a result, Reid Kilts will always offer only the best Scottish Made goods.

With Mr. Sutherland’s knowledge I was able to grow in the Company and continue on from a part time sales assistant to a Sales manager at another one of Scotland’s oldest web based Highland wear companies. It was at this company that I was further guided until I finally found the confidence and drive to fulfil a lifelong ambition of mine - to start my own business.

Reid Kilts was officially launched on 1st February and although I am still relatively young I have been lucky enough to have had a wealth of experience and a real drive and enthusiasm for the business.

Over the years I have perfected my customer service skills and have had a large number of customers praise the service they received whilst I dealt with their orders.
