Prince Charlie Jacket and Vest

The  Prince Charlie Jacket and Vest is one of Scotland's most iconic Highland Dress garments. Most often used for formal evening dress, the Prince Charlie Jacket worn with a Kilt complete with Sporran, Sgian Dubhs and a pair of Ghillie Brouges, has a style and finish that make it perfect for smart Dress events. It boasts stunning Satin Lapels, silk braided epaulettes and the short cut body design that makes both the kilt and jacket stand out. More recently the Prince Charlie has also been adapted to be worn with a 5 button vest. This option is available in our range and would allow the wearer to modernise the jacket by wearing a cravat/ ruche tie with the Prince Charlie, as opposed to a bow tie. Our stock size jackets are all made individually from scratch by our local Scottish Tailors close to our base in Glasgow. This process takes around 4 weeks to complete, so there is a waiting period involved.
